| Bio: |  Name: Lloyd Jay Dixon Job: Teacher of History at Goldfinch Academy Place of birth: Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in Atlanta, but my family moved to Saint Louis when I was two, so I don't really remember much of Georgia. After another four years there, we moved to a suburb of Chicago for a couple of years and finally settled in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I lived in St. Paul through high school and my first four years of College, attending Macalester College for my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. For Grad school, I decided to move out East, and eventually settled on Boston University for my M.A. in History. I've been teaching at Goldfinch Academy for four years now, and I like it well enough. The faculty here is great, and we're all so different in background, it's kind of refreshing in a way. For my students: My office hours are open to all, whether you're in my classes or not. I hold tutoring sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:30. Forensics meets Tuesdays and Fridays, so I won't have much time for visiting on those days, and we often have weekend meets. However, if anyone wants to schedule a time to meet with me about anything, you can simply email and we can make arrangements. Or leave a note in my box. I check that several times a day.
